
A nonprofit launched a Times Square billboard Thursday blasting a major insurance company CEO for saying that preventing men from using women’s restrooms is a “threat to democracy.”
The billboard, created by the nonprofit Consumers’ Research, targets Chubb Insurance CEO Evan Greenberg for what it calls “outrageous woke activism.”
The billboard, which went live at 3 p.m. Thursday, features an animated video of a man walking into a woman’s restroom and saying, “Thanks, Evan Greenberg!”
The other half of the billboard features a picture of Greenberg’s face and reads, “Preventing men from using women’s bathrooms is ‘A THREAT TO DEMOCRACY.’”

Chubb, the company targeted in the billboard, is one of the world’s largest insurers, with a gross revenue of $62 billion in 2023 alone, according to the company’s 2024 report.
But Consumers’ Research, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing consumers’ understanding and knowledge about products, describes Chubb as “the wokest insurance company,” saying it uses its market power and resources to push “climate extremism; gender ideology; and support for diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

Consumers’ Research says the billboard is part of a broader seven-figure campaign to expose Chubb’s woke activism.
“Consumers’ Research launched this campaign to warn Americans of the disturbing extremism being promoted by the leaders of this insurance giant,” Will Hild, the group’s executive director, told The Daily Signal.
“We brought the campaign to Times Square to inform Chubb’s New York City customers, and everyone who visits the Big Apple, of just how much Chubb has needlessly consumed itself with woke nonsense.”
Hild said Greenberg’s claim that keeping men out of women’s restrooms threatens democracy is “just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Chubb’s far-left fixations.”
“Consumers deserve to know about all of it before giving Chubb their business,” Hild said.
The billboard is part of the nonprofit’s broader Consumers First Initiative, launched in May 2021 to “protect consumers from woke companies.”
Chubb Insurance had not responded to a request for comment at publishing time.
