One of the top pro-life organizations in the United States has released a video focusing on the beauty and humanity of an unborn baby as he grows in his mother’s womb.

In “Along for the Ride,” Live Action uses “state-of-the-art technology” to demonstrate an unborn baby’s journey through different stages of growth, ability, and size. The video comes as pro-life groups seek to combat efforts to dehumanize the unborn, as abortion advocates insist that a baby is not truly a person until he or she leaves the womb.

“Pregnancy is a truly magical time for a family,” Live Action Founder and President Lila Rose shared in a news release. “I remember carrying my little boys during pregnancy and the way I wished I could see them as we experienced the world together.”

Along for the Ride gives families the opportunity to do just that,” Rose continued. “This joyful and exceptional showcase of a family welcoming their child into the world will capture the hearts of millions. We have developed state-of-the-art, medically-accurate animations to share each milestone a baby achieves through his or her journey in the womb. Through this story, everyone can see the true humanity of the child and catch a glimpse of his reactions to the new world around him.”

The video also offers several different perspectives: that of the loving parents as they go through their daily lives juxtaposed with the baby growing and changing inside the womb. During a scene that takes place on July 4, for example, the video shows the baby detecting light from fireworks. In another scene, Live Action shows viewers how the baby can detect his mother singing.

“Beautiful video,” one user commented on YouTube. “My unplanned pregnancy was my life’s greatest gift. Being my son’s mom is the best thing I will ever do. Thank you live action, your videos definitely saved my sons life. I saw your videos years before I got pregnant. When I found out I was pregnant, I was terrified but I remembered your videos. Thank you for all you do!!! My son is a healthy 10 month old now.”

Christina Francis, a board-certified OB/GYN and the CEO of the American Association of Pro-Life OB/GYNs (AAPLOG), described the video as “strikingly” portraying “the reality of human life and development inside the womb.”

“It offers a beautiful reminder to pregnant women that they are never alone because their baby is always with them, growing and experiencing life right along with them,” she explained. “As an OB/GYN physician, I have the immense privilege of caring for two patients at once, and this video is an amazing depiction of the interaction between my two patients.”
