School lunch standards have changed—and not for the better.

This was evident recently in a Twitter campaign using the hashtag #ThanksMichelleObama. Students took photos of their mostly inedible-looking lunch trays of food.

Why Michelle Obama? Well, she "is pushing for rigid federal control of school meals through the new standards," according to Heritage Foundation policy expert Daren Bakst.

We recently asked, "What does your school lunch look like?" You responded with horror stories of children and grandchildren coming home hungry and seeing tons of food wasted. Some of you even refused to eat school lunches while visiting school on Grandparents Day.
