Virginia Dem Gets Away With Racial Slur at ‘No Kings’ Protest

Virginia Grace McKinnon •   May 5, 2026

A local Democrat Virginia official was caught in a video using vulgar language, including the N-word, at a “No Kings” protest in Loudoun County, and it has gone completely under the radar.

Juli Briskman serves on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, where she’s in charge of determining school funding and the budget for Loudoun County Public Schools.

Last week, a June 2025 video resurfaced featuring a photo montage of her at the rally set to the song “FDT.” Behind the photos taken of multiple county officials from the rally, the lyrics sing, “F— Donald Trump, yeah n—-, f— Donald Trump.”

Last time Briskman faced a scandal for being vulgar, she used it to win her election. This time local residents are starting to express outrage over the incident.

“As a Loudoun County resident and mother of children in the Algonkian District, I’m appalled that an elected official would post something so vulgar,” a Loudoun County school district mother said in a statement to The Daily Signal.

“This is offensive, crass, and unbecoming. And it would be for any elected official of any political party. Where is her common sense?” she continued.

She Commits to ‘Doing Better’

Briskman later deleted the video but didn’t originally think a public apology was necessary—until nearly a year later. A source familiar with the matter told The Daily Signal that Briskman was forced to make the apology by board Chair Phyllis J. Randall, who was featured next to Briskman in the video, and now plans to run against her for chair of the board.

“I made a social media post after a No Kings rally in Leesburg last June using the YG song ‘FDT,’ which includes the n-word. Once I realized my mistake, I deleted it immediately. I now understand that removing the post wasn’t enough,” Briskman stated Friday on social media.

“It was apparently screen-recorded in the short time it was up & is now making the rounds in Loudoun. As [an] ally in the hard work of equity & inclusion, I still [have] blind spots that I must reconcile. Racist & other offensive lyrics are completely unacceptable. I apologize deeply for my mistake and commit to doing better,” the apology continued.

However, the apology has been seen by fewer than 700 people.

National Attention for Her Profanity

In 2017, Briskman received national attention when photographer Brendan Smialowski captured her giving President Donald Trump the middle finger as his motorcade passed her while she cycled in Sterling, Virginia.

After she was identified as the cyclist in the photo, she was fired from government contracting firm Akima. Briskman viewed the publicity as an opportunity to “do something about this Trump administration,” she told ABC News in a 2019 interview.

She decided to run for local office, announcing on Twitter, “Loudoun deserves transparency in government, fully funded schools & smarter solutions to growth. It’s time for a change.”

Briskman did not immediately return multiple requests for comment by The Daily Signal.

Today, even with President Trump’s victory, leftist elites have their tentacles in every aspect of our government.

The Daily Signal’s own Tyler O’Neil exposes this leftist cabal in his new book, The Woketopus: The Dark Money Cabal Manipulating the Federal Government.

In this book, O’Neil reveals how the Left’s NGO apparatus pursues its woke agenda, maneuvering like an octopus by circumventing Congress and entrenching its interests in the federal government.
