Stop Freaking Out—DOGE Is Exactly What Washington Needs 

Judging by the Left’s reactions over the past few months, you would think the Department of Government Efficiency was burning down the federal government. The protests. The headlines. The handwringing. All because someone finally asked the question Americans have been yelling for years: Where is our money going? 

Let’s set the record straight. President Donald Trump’s DOGE, tied to and led by Elon Musk, is catching heat not because it’s ineffective, but because it’s working. Washington’s elite class thrives on chaos and confusion. Transparency? That’s a threat. 

So when DOGE rolls in with receipts, you can bet the swamp starts bubbling. 

Despite the Left’s domestic terrorist attacks against Tesla dealerships and battle cries and its anti-Elon meltdowns, its reaction is not about Musk, it’s about exposure. 

Sure, Musk helped build the DOGE machine. And the Left lost its mind because of it. But he’s already said he can leave anytime. DOGE isn’t about a billionaire tech guy with too many Twitter accounts.

DOGE is about unmasking decades of waste, fraud, and bureaucratic deadweight. 

And they know it. 

The idea that we should not be auditing bloated agencies is insane. Families are struggling with inflation. Small businesses are scraping by. But sure—let’s dump billions into failing federal programs and hope no one notices. 

DOGE is noticing. 

Recently, more than 100,000 people marched on D.C. in what was billed as a grassroots response to DOGE’s “destruction” of the federal government. Translation? Career bureaucrats and activists are terrified they’ll be forced to justify their budgets. 

And here’s the kicker: DOGE is talking about returning money to the people. A $5,000 check, funded by cuts to bloated programs. That’s not destruction. That’s common sense. 

Everyday Americans want answers. They want to know how their money’s being spent—and they’re sick of being told to sit down and shut up. DOGE might not be perfect, but it’s doing what no one else has had the guts to do: follow the money. 

And the only people who should be afraid of that are the ones with something to hide.
