Could flattery be the only way to Kim Jong Un’s heart and the future denuclearization of North Korea?

After what President Donald Trump said was a successful summit, derided by many critics for producing what they say is a flimsy agreement, the president took to the media to compliment the North Korean dictator.  

“Really, he’s got a great personality. He’s a funny guy, he’s very smart, he’s a great negotiator,” Trump told Voice of America after the historic summit in Singapore on Tuesday. “He loves his people, not that I’m surprised by that, but he loves his people. And I think that we have the start of an amazing deal.”
