Juan Williams Rebuked for Making ‘Ridiculous’ Claim About Conservatives

Ken McIntyre •   August 4, 2014

A discussion on “Fox News Sunday” about why congressional Republicans want to sue President Obama for abuse of executive power turned heated when commentator Juan Williams told Heritage Action CEO Michael Needham that conservatives  across the country have “demonized” President Obama. Needham defended conservatives as “good people” worried about a “lawless president.”

Needham, head of The Heritage Foundation’s lobbying affiliate, retorted: “You’re the one demonizing people. … You’re demonizing good people who are concerned about a president who is completely out of control.”

Things get “ridiculous,” in Needham’s view, at 3:03 when Williams answers host Chris Wallace’s question about whether Republican opposition to Obama is “racial or based on principles and policies.”

The Daily Signal’s own Tyler O’Neil exposes this leftist cabal in his new book, The Woketopus: The Dark Money Cabal Manipulating the Federal Government.

In this book, O’Neil reveals how the Left’s NGO apparatus pursues its woke agenda, maneuvering like an octopus by circumventing Congress and entrenching its interests in the federal government.
