Amie Ichikawa was incarcerated at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla for five years. She is now the founder of WomanIIWoman, a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to providing support throughout the process of re-entry and advocating for policy change when injustices toward incarcerated women occur. She maintains contact with women in the Central California Women’s Facility and the California Institution for Women, serving as their advocate.
