Appearing on Fox News today, Heritage Action CEO Mike Needham confidently predicted that lawmakers will defund Planned Parenthood.
“You will absolutely see this September that Congress will defund Planned Parenthood,” said Needham.
Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., among others, has called for the defunding of Planned Parenthood.
Needham also discussed the second video released today by the Center for Medical Progress, which showed a Planned Parenthood senior executive appearing to discuss the prices for aborted baby body parts.
“She’s literally haggling over the prices of baby body parts, and she says later in the video because she wants to buy a Lamborghini,” he said. “This is going to cause a lot of pro-choice people to rethink their views.”
“These videos are part of a decade-long campaign of deceiving the public, making false charges, and terrorizing women and their doctors, all in order to ban abortion and cut women off from care at Planned Parenthood,” Eric Ferrero, Planned Parenthood’s vice president of communication, told The Hill.
