The popular TV game show “Jeopardy!” apparently took a subtle jab at the Common Core national education standards. In a special “Kids Week” edition last Friday, one category was titled “Non-Common Core Math.” Although host Alex Trebek didn’t explain the reference, the category posed basic math problems that didn’t require the three young contestants to employ the new structure.
