Despite strong opposition in Congress and the growing threat of terrorist attacks both at home and abroad, President Barack Obama continues to call for the closing of Guantanamo Bay.
In an interview with The Daily Signal, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., says the president is more fixated on fulfilling an ill-advised campaign promise than maintaining what Cotton believes is a safe, secure, and humane detention facility for unlawful combatants.
