Earlier today, in his delivered remarks on national security, the President forgot the name of Defense Secretary Robert Gates. He goes by Bob. The President called him William. He has been the Defense Secretary since 2006. If you watch the video, the President clearly realizes something is wrong with his speech. So this is the question: Because of the low priority the President has given the Pentagon in next year’s budget, should this make you wonder about their relationship? Or is the President so inextricably tied to speeches and teleprompters to the point that he cannot improvise? You be the judge.

8 commentsThe president has ONE priority. To destroy those that have the audacity to live under freedom, who take on their rightful, HUMAN responsibilities, who live under the principles of AMERICA…AT ALL COSTS!
I have always,my whole life, respected the office of the President. But,with this illegitement imposter, I have my doubts he has any respect for the private sector of business, free markets, free enterprise, military, capitolism. He never has anything good to say about how great our country is. How great our country is on maintaining freedom, and liberty here and for other countries as well. If we fail, as a beacon for freedom and liberty for other countries and for us, their is no hope for mankind to progress, succeed, and prosper. That left wing ideology dumbs your IQ level down to a level you just passed third grade. It keeps you from doing the right thing for our country, and it's well being. Thats' all.
I seem to recall during the Bush-Kerry debate some noise being made about a bump/bulge on Pres. Bush's back, and some believing he was wired to receive answers… Do I recall accurately? But wires for all to see? A new era of transparency!
No problem here. Obama was really thinking of Willam Ayers, his real defense minister. Obama has worked so hard to look and sound smart he has forgotten substance. How could the man improvise without someone putting on the teleprompter. I do not understand how so many people think Obams so eloquent, when he stammers and stutters without his crutch. He would make a better comedian than a president.
That was very funny to watch. The man is an idiot! If his teleprompter is not telling him what to say, he's lost. A very dangerous idiot.
"He [Obama] commended the [Naval Academy] graduates for having 'embraced the virtues that we need most right now: self-discipline over self-interest, … character over celebrity." Washington Post.
Having been a naval officer, I find Obama's quoted statement to be hypocritical. What's that wise old saying? "Actions speak louder than words".
PS: the Washington Post went on to quote Obama as basically promoting a warm fuzzy foreign policy that will more righteously and effectively win over enemies bent on our destruction. What???? Where did this guy go to school? He's sounding too much like a dang lawyer,(humor). Unfortunately, a misguided populace got what they elected.
