BIOGRAPHY

Jarrett Stepman is a columnist at The Daily Signal. He is the author of The War on History: The Conspiracy to Rewrite America’s Past, which was published in 2019. The book focused on the increasing attacks on American history and the need to preserve and celebrate what was and is best about the country.

Stepman has been working in media for more than a decade and a half after completing an internship at the National Journalism Center. In addition to The Daily Signal he has worked for Human Events and Breitbart News. His articles have appeared in the American Mind, the New York Post, Fox News Digital, the Federalist, RealClearPolitics, and many other publications. He’s been a guest on Fox News, CNN, Newsmax, News Nation, Real America’s Voice, and other TV programs and podcasts.

Stepman is a 2018 Lincoln Fellow with the Claremont Institute. He is a native Californian currently living in New York with his wife, Inez Stepman.
