With less than two weeks until Election Day, Virginia Republican Attorney General Jason Miyares is enjoying what the polls say is upward of a six-percentage point lead over Democrat Jay Jones in the race for attorney general.
That has not stopped him from campaigning each day with a full slate of events.

He took a few minutes to talk with The Daily Signal about the power an unethical attorney general could wield against political foes, what the upcoming appearance by former President Barack Obama could do for the race, and if a Republican victory will put an end to the incalcitrant attitude of many local supervisors, school boards, and commonwealth’s attorneys toward the current Republican administration’s policies.
