Another contentious school board meeting occurred in Northern Virginia on Wednesday, this time in Fairfax County, where the school division is suing the federal Department of Education for withholding funding because the school system has been found in violation of federal Title IX law over its policies allowing “transgender” students in girls’ facilities.

After the ugliness that pockmarked the neighboring Arlington County School Board meeting two weeks ago—when a protester held up a racist poster mocking GOP gubernatorial candidate Winsome Earle-Sears—both Earle-Sears and GOP lieutenant governor candidate John Reid were at the meeting to address the Fairfax County School Board.
