2 Non-Woke Companies Offer Job Placement Help for Bud Light’s Laid-Off Employees

After Bud Light’s parent company Anheuser-Busch announced Wednesday it would be laying off 350 employees in the face of slumping sales, a pair of self-styled “pro-American” companies offered to help the soon-to-be former employees find jobs in their “network of non-woke businesses.”

RedBalloon, an online job board, and Public Square, a company that created a pro-life diaper brand and gives employees a $5,000 “baby bonus” for every child they have or adopt, tweeted a public letter addressed to “Laid-Off Bud Light Workers,” in which they offered to help them find jobs with companies that would not jeopardize their livelihoods in advancing woke ideologies.

“If you are now looking for work due to upper management’s out-of-touch decision-making, please reach out and send your resumes to our respective networks of tens of thousands of pro-American businesses,” the two companies wrote in their letter.

According to RedBalloon, which maintains a database of job listings of values-driven companies so that people can apply to companies that align with their own values, a number of the affected Bud Light employees have already accepted their offer.

“We have had several [former employees] submit their resumes, and we are actively working to place them,” Isaac Lopez, the communications director of RedBalloon, told The Daily Signal.

As a result, RedBalloon and Public Square, a company that provides consumers with a database of pro-American companies so that people can shop without fear of indirectly funding the woke movement, are working to find these people new jobs.

“In conjunction with PublicSq., we want to help workers find jobs with companies that value hard-working Americans. The hundreds of employees laid off by Bud Light paid for the poor, woke business decision-making, while the C-suite remains untouched,” RedBalloon told The Daily Signal.

The two companies pointed out in their letter to the former Bud Light employees that while they are losing their livelihoods, “Anheuser-Busch CEO Brandon Whitworth will still earn a massive annual salary and not face any consequences for his actions … for Bud Light’s disastrous decision.”

Beginning in early April, Americans began boycotting Bud Light for partnering with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, a man who “identifies” as a woman. As a result of the boycott, Bud Light lost its status as the best-selling beer brand in America, but rather than recant, Anheuser-Busch has yet to disavow its support of a woke agenda.

Many people are suffering from politically correct companies’ policies and are searching for jobs with businesses that align with their values and that won’t jeopardize their employees’ jobs for the sake of woke ideology, RedBalloon said.

“The tens of thousands of job-seekers that come to RedBalloon every week are looking for freedom in the workplace, where they won't have to worry about the company's leadership breathing down their necks with DEI and ESG policies,” RedBalloon said of liberal “diversity, equity, and inclusion” and “environmental, social, and governance” standards.

“That's what we hope to offer to these laid-off Bud Light employees.”

RedBalloon says it can provide that type of guarantee to the 350 former Bud Light workers because of its “Employer Pledge.”

Any employer that wants to join RedBalloon’s database of job listings has to sign a pledge that says it will “not discriminate against my company’s employees’ personal beliefs, nor infringe on their constitutional rights, nor invade their medical privacy.”

The Daily Signal’s own Tyler O’Neil exposes this leftist cabal in his new book, The Woketopus: The Dark Money Cabal Manipulating the Federal Government.

In this book, O’Neil reveals how the Left’s NGO apparatus pursues its woke agenda, maneuvering like an octopus by circumventing Congress and entrenching its interests in the federal government.
