Organizers call the March for Marriage an “indispensable vehicle” for showing the world — and mainstream media — that support for the preservation of marriage is alive and well.

Yet, as thousands gathered in the sun today on Capitol Hill to rally behind the historic and tradition views of marriage — as the union of one man and one woman – relatively few reporters were in sight. The advance of same-sex marriage, in contrast, has been much in the media spotlight.

For this video, The Daily Signal asked three public figures who spoke at the event — Mike Huckabee, former Arkansas governor and Fox News host; Rick Santorum, former U.S. senator from Pennsylvania; and Rep. Tim Huelskamp, R-Kansas — for their take on media coverage and whether journalists are taking sides in the marriage debate.
